ABOUT THE FOUNDER
After spending over 20 years immersed in the auto dealership world, I’ve seen it all — from coast to coast, thousands of dealerships, service bays, and showrooms. I’ve had one-on-one conversations with everyone from service advisors and techs to GMs and customers themselves. Through all those experiences, one thing has always been clear: most software systems weren’t built with the people who actually use them in mind.
Some tools were good. Others were clunky. And many were downright frustrating (or unintentionally hilarious). But it wasn’t until a few years ago that a service manager — a former tech — looked me in the eye and said something that really stuck:
“Mike, we just want the KISS method — Keep it Simple, Stupid.”
That one sentence hit home. Over and over, I’d heard the same pushback: “Our customers don’t use technology,” or “They won’t engage with texting.” But then I’d drive past a restaurant and see those same customers ordering from a kiosk without hesitation. Or hear about someone’s grandmother who just called an Uber to go shopping.
The problem wasn’t technology — it was the way it was being delivered.
I founded Quantum Forge Pro to change that.
